Dianne Boazman is founder and partner of
Care Management Solutions since 1991, a geriatric care management
service specializing in work with the elderly and those responsible
for their care. She is also founder and partner of Home Care
Solutions since 2001, a sitter/companion service specializing
in Alzheimer Disease and a division of Home Care Solutions.
Dianne holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Tulane University,
specializing in health. She is a Louisiana Licensed Clinical Social Worker and is a member of the
National Academy of Certified Care Managers and the National Association of Social Workers.
In 2000, Dianne served as President of the National Association of Professional
Geriatric Care Managers (GCM). Currently, she serves as President of The GCM Guild Board of Directors
and she is the Chair of the 2005 GCM Annual Conference to be held in New Orleans.
Locally, Dianne has served as Adjunct Professor with Tulane University’s School
of Social Work, teaching a graduate course in gerontology. She is a member of the New Orleans Women’s
Professional Council, serving as 2004-2005 Program Chair. She is Chairman of the Advisory Council for
the Jefferson Area Agency on Aging, a member of the Orleans and Jefferson Parish Elderly Protective
Services Committee and Clinical Coordinating Council. She is the immediate Past-President of the Board
of Directors for Citizens Care, an advocacy organization for quality and choice in long-term care.
Dianne is a frequent presenter on the topics of caring for aging parents and
long-term care planning to various professional and health care organizations. Dianne contributed to a
chapter on Geriatric Care Management in the book, “How to Talk to Your Senior Parents about Really
Important Things”, by Theresa Foy DiGeronimo (2001). She also co-authored the forward in the “Handbook
of Geriatric Care Management”, by Cathy Cress (2001)
In December 2004, Dianne’s care management company was presented with the
Entrepreneur Award by the Louisiana Geriatric Society. In 2002, Dianne was honored to be selected as
one of the Women of the Year by New Orleans City Business. Currently, Dianne is an active member of
the New Orleans Rotary.
